9.4 Switching the roof air conditioner on and off

With the control panel

The figure shows how to use the control panel to switch the roof air condition-

er on, off or to stand-by. Press the button as shown in the illustration:

Example: The roof air conditioner is in stand-by mode. You want to switch it

off.

➤ Briefly press the button.

✓ The roof air conditioner is switched off.

With the remote control

NOTE

When it is switched on, it begins to condition the air to the values

that were set most recently.

NOTE

 The roof air conditioner can only be operated by the remote

control when it is switched on or in stand-by mode.

 You can use the remote control to switch the roof air condition-

er to and from stand-by mode. Press the button.

 Available for models with heating only:

If you switch of the roof air conditioner from the “Heating” ( )

mode using the remote control the blower continues working

for a few minutes to avoid an overheating of the device. The

LED flashes orange. Press the button of the control panel

to completely switch off the roof air conditioner.
